The Brand Kit is your single definition of how your restaurant looks and sounds. Its colours and fonts theme your boards and customer-facing screens; its copy guidelines guide Studio. Editing it is free on any plan.

Visual identity#

  • Colours — primary, secondary, accent and background.
  • Fonts — heading font, body font, or upload a custom font.
  • Logo — used on boards and emails.
  • Vibe / theme keyword — a steer that influences AI generations.

Brand voice#

Beyond visuals, the brand kit stores your copy guidelines, surfaced in Studio:

  • Brand name, short and long description, and brand story.
  • Tone of voice and writing style.
  • Claim, slogans, taglines, preferred and forbidden words.
  • Menu copy and store communications guidelines, plus photography and typography notes.

Where the brand kit applies#

  • Boards & screens — your colours and fonts inject into the board editor and the public TV runtime automatically.
  • Free tier — boards and screens are locked to the Crubby theme (and screens carry a watermark); Crubby Sync unlocks your brand and removes the watermark. See Plans & limits.

Note

The Crubby app interface itself stays monochrome on every plan — the brand kit themes your customer-facing output (boards/screens), not the admin chrome. The one thing the chrome adopts is your logo.
