Signing in & access

Creating an account, logging in, resetting a password, accepting a team invite, and switching between workspaces.


Creating an account#

New accounts are created through the onboarding wizard (there's no separate signup form). It's a short, one-question-at-a-time flow:

  1. 1Your store name, email, and the type of cuisine.
  2. 2Your location(s) (with city autocomplete), brand colours and an optional logo, and how many screens you'll run (with orientation).
  3. 3Five starter dishes (name / price / ingredients) — or tap *Fill with examples* for a sample menu.
  4. 4A password, then a 6-digit code emailed to you to confirm the account.

When you finish, Crubby seeds your menu with those dishes, applies your brand, builds a starter board sized to your screens, and drops you straight into the editor.

Logging in#

  • Email + password, or Continue with Google.
  • Forgot your password? Use the link on the login page.

Resetting your password#

    Request a link

    Enter your email on the reset page. For security you always see the same confirmation, whether or not the address has an account.

    Set a new password

    Follow the emailed link and choose a new password (min 8 characters, with an uppercase letter and a number). An expired link sends you back to request a fresh one.

Accepting a team invite#

When an Owner invites you, you get an email with an accept link (valid 7 days). Open it, sign in (or create your Crubby account) with the same email the invite was sent to, then click Accept invite — you land in Manager as a member of that restaurant. See Team & roles.

Switching workspaces#

If you belong to more than one restaurant, open the profile menu (your avatar, top-right) and pick another workspace. Crubby switches your active restaurant and takes you to Manager. With a single restaurant, there's no switcher to worry about.
