Menu editor shortcuts

Power-user moves in the menu spreadsheet: edit mode, fill-down, the @ ingredient picker and bulk actions.

Edit mode#

The menu is a spreadsheet-style grid. Toggle Edit mode in the header to make the name and category cells editable and unlock spreadsheet range selection. Price, delivery price and availability are click-editable even outside edit mode (Enter saves, Esc cancels).

Fill-down & ranges#

ActionHow
Select a rangeClick a cell, then click-drag, Shift+click, or Shift+Arrow.
Fill downCtrl/Cmd + D — copies the top cell down the selection.
Fill rightCtrl/Cmd + R — copies the left cell across the selection.
Paste a blockCtrl/Cmd + V — paste tab-separated values starting at the active cell.
Clear cellsDelete / Backspace (booleans aren't cleared).
Edit a cellEnter, F2, or just start typing.

Note

There's no drag-to-fill handle — filling is keyboard-driven (Ctrl/Cmd+D / +R).

The @ ingredient picker#

Inside a product's recipe block, type `@` to open the ingredient search (or use + Add ingredient). Arrow keys move, Enter adds it (default quantity 1). Suggestions include your own ingredients plus global presets; picking a preset adds it to your library. See Cost a dish.

Bulk actions#

  • Tick row checkboxes to reveal the bulk bar: Available, Unavailable, Price %…, Archive, Deselect.
  • Price %… opens a dialog: enter a single percentage (positive to raise, negative to lower) with a live old→new preview; prices round to the nearest cent.
  • A category's Bulk actions menu can mark a whole category available/unavailable or apply a price change.
  • Archive is reversible — restore from the *Archived* section. Archiving in bulk is owner/manager-only.
