Free tier, Crubby Sync, add-ons, subscription statuses and AI credits — what you get and where the caps are.
Crubby has a genuinely usable free tier and a paid plan, Crubby Sync, that unlocks your fleet and your brand. Manager is included on every plan. (A handful of legacy paid tiers — essential, pro, premium — still exist for older accounts; new sign-ups are Free or Sync.)
Free tier#
The free tier is for trying Crubby end to end with a real screen. The limits:

Heads up
The free 10-product cap is workspace-wide — 10 products total across all your locations, not 10 per location. The caps that move on upgrade are screens, products, the watermark and the board theme lock.
Note
Beyond 30 screens or 9 locations, the self-serve cap is reached and you move to a contact-sales / Enterprise conversation.
Pricing#
- Crubby Sync (base)
- €29.90 / month — includes 1 location, 3 screens and 100 AI credits/month.
- Extra location
- €19.90 / month each.
- Extra screen
- €7.90 / month each.
Prices are indicative of the current catalogue and shown live on the plan screen at checkout. You can revisit the plan page any time — even after onboarding, and even if your subscription has lapsed.
Subscription status#
Your status determines whether you can write. It's driven by Stripe's billing state (and its dunning), not a fixed Crubby day-count:
- active
- Payment valid. Everything works.
- grace
- Payment is lapsing (Stripe past_due / unpaid). Still fully writable, with a warning.
- expired
- Subscription paused/ended. The workspace goes read-only — but your screens keep playing, they never blank out.
- cancelled
- You cancelled. Read-only, no future charges.
AI credits (Studio)#
- Crubby Sync includes 100 AI image credits per month.
- Need more? Buy prepaid packs in Studio → Credits — six sizes from Starter (100 cr) up to Ultra (8,000 cr), with bigger packs at a lower per-credit rate.
- Credits are consumed per generation; your balance and a transaction ledger are always visible.
Note
AI generation is a limited beta gated by a platform flag — see AI credits and Composer for what's currently available. Billing, invoices and your card on file are managed in Settings → Billing via the Stripe portal.
