The core idea: one menu, every surface#
You never type a price into a screen. You edit it once in Manager, and every surface that references it updates — the boards on your TVs, your food-cost numbers, and your allergen matrix. This is what we mean by *data-locked* boards: a board stores layout and style, never menu content.
Tip
If a price looks wrong on a screen, you fix it in Manager → Menu, not in the board editor. The screen will follow.
