Schedule breakfast, lunch & a holiday menu

Use daypart rules and a one-time date override so the right board plays at the right time.

Scheduling decides what each screen shows and when. You create rules in Display → Schedule; only published boards can be scheduled.

Create a daypart (e.g. breakfast)#

    Open the day modal

    On the Calendar tab click any day, or on the Rules tab click New rule.

    Step 1 — Where

    Target a Screen, a Group, or a Wall.

    Step 2 — What shows

    Pick a Board, Sequence, or content Group.

    Step 3 — When → Recurring

    Set a from–to time (e.g. 07:00–11:00), tick the days of the week, and choose a priority of Regular or Promotion. Save schedule.

Repeat for lunch and dinner with their own time windows. Times always resolve in the location's own timezone.

Add a holiday / one-off menu#

Click the holiday's day (or use the Holidays chip), choose One-time, pick the board, and save (Add for {holiday}). One-off / holiday rules sit at the top of the hierarchy — Holidays & one-offs > Promotions > Regular — so a holiday board beats your normal dayparts for that day.

Note

Overlapping rules on the same screen are flagged with a red warning (saving isn't blocked — the hierarchy decides the winner). Priority is set by the Regular/Promotion choice, not a number. Emergency and weather rule types exist in the system but aren't created from this screen.
