Menu import

Bulk-load products from a CSV with deduplication and conflict detection.

Menu import brings an existing catalogue into Crubby from a CSV file — useful when migrating from a spreadsheet or another system.

How it works#

    Upload your CSV

    Map columns to product fields (name, category, price, description).

  2. 2

    Review the diff

    Crubby deduplicates by category + name and previews which rows are new vs already in your menu.

  3. 3

    Confirm

    New products are created; with update-existing enabled, matched products have their price, description and allergens refreshed instead of duplicated.

Tip

The update-existing mode makes re-import a workflow: fix prices in your spreadsheet and re-upload to refresh them in place.

Import is for menu content. It is not a live POS connector — that's tracked under Integrations.
